It was classical night on ABC's hit dance-competition show, "Dancing With the Stars." The Monday night telecast challenged the celebrities to step up their games, and it paid off: The judges finally gave out their first perfect score of the season.

Similar to last week, after the individual dances, the couples split off into two teams — Team Paso and Team Tango — to get a second score.

The season's first perfect score came when TV journalist Maria Menounos and her pro partner Derek Hough performed the paso doble and judges were in love with what she turned in. Carrie Ann Inaba joked "that dance sucked!" before chasing it with "You were so on fire!" Their score was 30/30 for a total of 57/60 including the bonus dance.

Here's how the others fared:

Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas
The opera singer took over the dance floor with her rumba. The judges thought her performance was elegant. Judge Bruno Tonioli said that Jenkins was the "embodiment of the power of beauty" and joked that her dance could have been raunchier. 27/30, for a total of 54/60 with the bonus dance.

Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd
The NFL player took on the Viennese waltz and the athlete scored big points with the live audience, judging by their hoots and hollering. Hard-to-please head judge Len Goodman said that the performance was terrific and praised Driver's footwork. 27/30 for a total of 53/60.

William Levy and Cheryl Burke
The Latin heartthrob also danced the Viennese waltz. Judges thought this was one of his best nights ever. Inaba shrieked, saying, "That is true content! That is true dancing!" 27/30, for a total of 53/60.

Roshon Fegan and Chelsea Hightower
The Disney star danced the Argentine tango (and to a classical spin on Lady Gaga's hit "Bad Romance" at that!) and the judges thought the performance came off a bit wobbly. Goodman told him that he "looked a little bit awkward," but added that it was "clean and competent." 25/30, for a total of 52/60.

Jaleel White and Kym Johnson
The former child star danced the Viennese waltz, and judges weren't too impressed with what he brought to the ballroom. Goodman said his footwork wasn't up to par but that he did enjoy the "fairy" feel to his routine. But that was about it. 24/30 for a total of 51/60.

Melissa Gilbert and Maks Chmerkovskiy
Both partners were plagued by injuries — Chmerkovskiy had a cyst in his foot — but he stepped it up as best he could for their Argentine tango. In spite of working through the pain, judges really weren't all that impressed. Goodman said that their routine wasn't clean, and Inaba said that the dance was "Cirque du Soleil gone terribly wrong." Ouch. 21/30, for a total of 47/60.
