Dugger Indiana, Population 995 and Atheists think that the small plot of city owned land is worth fighting over. Yes that is right folks, in a small sleepy town that is?predominantly Christian, a group of Atheists has decided to sue over a cross. It just leads me to wonder what is it about Christianity and things like the cross or the ten commandments that gives them such heartburn? What are they afraid of concerning the free speech of people of faith? Just like I showed you of the Atheist that was whining that he didn?t get a free shrimp on Sunday because he didn?t attend church, and how another Atheist group wanted to ban a concert at a public venue, we have a case of Atheists trying to bully a town into conforming to their belief that putting a cross on a plot of city owned land is promoting religion. What will come next? Removing all the crosses on the graves at the public?cemetery? Here are some excerpts from the story at Fox News.

A 26-foot tall cross emblazoned with the message ?Jesus Saves? has become the center for more First Amendment debate in Indiana.
The cross stands on a public plot of land in the small Hoosier State community of Dugger, and has Americans United for Separation of Church and State threatening to sue.
?It?s a pretty flagrant display of the government saying ?this is a Christian town,?? Gregory Lipper, the group?s senior counsel, told FoxNews.com. ?Everyone gets freedom of religion ?just because Christianity is this country?s religious majority doesn?t mean that they get to put their thumb on the scale and use taxpayer dollars.
The land that the cross sits on is valued at about $3,000, and the little 955-person town cannot afford legal fees to save such a small spot of land.
?We?ve given the church 60 days to make a decision,? Dwight Nielsen, Dugger Town Board president, told FoxNews.com. ?We may sell the land to a group of [churches].?
The cross was erected two years ago on behalf of the town?s Faith Community Church. The fixture sits on town-owned property near a high school baseball field, but the town approved the build.
?We knew it was okay because when you look at the separation between church and state, it?s just a fact that the government couldn?t tell people how to worship ? it would be the same if they allowed a crescent moon to be put up,? he continued.
The town will soon hold a meeting to discuss and finalize the?future plans of the cross, officials said.

The motive of the atheists is not the?separation of religion and state, but the elimination of religion.
I think that everyone needs to be aware that the goal of atheists is not to separate church and state, but to eliminate all vestiges of God from society. So each time that the atheists attack towns and governments on the basis of separation of church and state they are doing so to advance their cause.
Because of this, every attempt made by atheists must be resisted at all costs. In this case, there is a simple solution. Just one donation by somebody could buy that plot of land. However I would suggest something even more. I would suggest that every time an atheist files a?frivolous?lawsuit like this, that the believers in the community that is attacked buy land next to the atheists residence and place a huge cross on it that the atheist has to see every day. No broken laws, and payback is hell since they are so afraid of crosses.
Blessings!
